These Terms of Service govern the use of the website Wangsit – The Revelations of Java operated by David Haefflinger, based in Paris, France. By accessing or using this website, purchasing a print, or otherwise engaging with its content, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before using the site.

Products and Availability

All artworks and photographs displayed on this site are original works by David Haefflinger. Fine art prints are offered in limited editions, signed and numbered. While every effort is made to display colours and details accurately, variations may occur due to screen calibration or printing processes. The artist reserves the right to change, discontinue, or update product offerings at any time without prior notice.

Orders and Payment

Placing an order constitutes a binding agreement to purchase. Payments are processed through secure third-party services. Prices are listed in Euros and include applicable VAT unless stated otherwise. Additional shipping fees, customs duties, or local taxes may apply depending on the delivery destination and remain the responsibility of the purchaser. Orders are considered final once confirmed; cancellations are not accepted after payment is processed.

Shipping and Delivery

Prints are produced on demand and shipped using professional carriers. Estimated delivery times are provided as guidance only and are not guaranteed. Risk of loss or damage passes to the buyer upon delivery. The artist is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs authorities, or force majeure events.

Returns and Refunds

Due to the custom and limited-edition nature of the works, all sales are final. Returns or refunds are only accepted in the event of material defect or damage during shipping. Any claim must be submitted within seven (7) days of receipt, accompanied by photographic proof. If approved, a replacement or refund will be issued at the artist’s discretion.

Intellectual Property

All content on this site, including photographs, text, design, and layout, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights owned by David Haefflinger. No content may be reproduced, distributed, or otherwise exploited for commercial purposes without prior written consent. Permission requests for editorial or media use should be addressed directly to the artist.

Privacy and Data Protection

Personal information collected during orders or through the contact form is used solely for communication, order fulfillment, and customer service. Data is processed in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Information will never be sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes without explicit consent. Users may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their data by contacting the artist at the address below.

Limitation of Liability

The website and its content are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. While efforts are made to ensure accuracy, errors or omissions may occur. To the fullest extent permitted by law, David Haefflinger shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the website or products purchased.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France. Any disputes shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Paris.
